Eolian Museum, Lipari.
Located in the castle complex that dominates the island of Lipari, Eolian Museum houses many artifacts that were recovered during excavations conducted in the territory of the Aeolian Islands by archaeologists Luigi Bernabo Brea and Madeleine Cavalier in the 1950s.
Make your way through the more than 40 rooms to see items from throughout the history of this area. After inspecting the amphorae, ancient pottery, jewelry, anchors, and other archaeological finds, head outside to enjoy the views from the castle.
The museum is divided into five different sections, with items dating as far back as the Neolithic age.
